natural-remedies-smooth-healthy-shiny-hair

Almost everyone loses a few strands of hair on daily basis. However excessive hair loss and split ends hinder your way to long, strong and healthy hair. The damage is caused by exposure to sun light, pollution and dirt; chemicals in shampoos, dyes; and physical damage by steaming, ironing and curling hair. Our hair goes through a lot. If you want shiny, smooth and healthy hair back, do not worry! It is not the expensive salon and products but a few steps to your kitchen.

Pampering yourself is great, and even better if it is at home. So, head to your kitchen because most of the ingredients for great hair are present either in your refrigerator or cabinets.

Putting anything in your hair might sound a little icky, but the results are totally worth it.
For Shiny and Smooth Hair

Ingredients:

1 Egg
1-2 cups unsweetened Yogurt

Direction:

Beat one egg along with the yolk with yogurt.
You can vary the amount of yogurt according to the length if your hair.
Beat the mixture thoroughly. Massage this mixture onto your hair and scalp.
You can use a hair dye brush for putting it on. Evenly distribute the mixture through your hair.
Protect your hair with an air tight polythene bag or a shower cap.
Let it sit for 30 minutes.
Let water run through your hair before you apply shampoo on your hair to wash it off when you shower.

After the wash, expect dandruff free, shiny and smooth hair that you can flaunt confidently. There might be a little remnant of egg smell in your hair which goes off if you shampoo twice. Doing this 1-2 times a week gives you shiny flawless hair.

This is by far the ickiest hair remedy but it is also a tried and tested remedy and has not failed so it is definitely worth a try.
